Suitable fabrics include swim knit, nylon spandex, athletic knits, cotton lycra, performance jersey, and other four-way stretch fabrics. For swimwear, choose fabrics specifically designed for water use. For everyday tops, dancewear, pajamas, or layering pieces, cotton lycra and similar knit fabrics work beautifully.
